I work with perfectionist, people-pleasers and those who generally struggle to be vulnerable with the people they care about most. There are some beautiful strengths that come from these qualities. But, you may have also learned to put the needs of others above your own leading them to get pushed further down the list of priorities. Let’s work to change that. I also work with first responders and their families. This is a familiar way of life for me and I understand the unique challenges it comes with. If you relate to this way of life, you’ve dedicated yourself to helping others and there is nothing wrong with needing some help and support yourself.
I take a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to therapy. You’re driving the car on the therapy highway; I’m here to act as your navigator and figure things out with you along the way. I utilize humanistic, CBT, DBT, and strength-based techniques. Most importantly, I am curious about getting to know you and your unique experiences.
